The most important thing when caring for your organic cotton clothes is to be gentle with them. Wash them on the delicate cycle in cold or warm water using mild, natural detergent. Avoid fabric softener and use white vinegar in the rinse cycle instead.

For drying, use the low heat setting on the dryer or air dry your clothes. The dryer can damage organic cotton over time so air drying is best when possible. Check your clothes frequently if using the dryer and remove them while still slightly damp.

When ironing organic cotton, use the lowest heat setting for cotton. You can lightly spray the clothes with water first to help with wrinkles. Iron slowly and carefully, avoiding buttons and embellishments.

After ironing, fold your organic cotton clothes with tissue paper in between layers to prevent creasing. Store them in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to help them last as long as possible. With proper care, high-quality organic cotton can provide many wears over the years.
